About the project

Alix Slater Consultancy & Training evaluated the outcomes of a youth project called the London World City project, a strand of 'Stories of the World', part of the Cultural Olympiad.

The consultancy's role

The consultancy worked with the Project Manager to collect baseline data from over 300 young people curating exhibitions, festivals and events at 18 different museums, galleries and heritage sites. The evaluation explored who the young people were, their previous experiences with museums, their expectations of the project and whether the outcomes of the project had been achieved based on their thoughts.

A second survey of audiences attending the events explored whether the audience knew the project was part of Stories of the World and the roles of young people in the project.
