About the project

The PCC of St Helen's, Trowell wanted to apply for an under £250,000 grant to make urgent repairs to the tower and deliver a small programme of activities to engage the local community, including uniformed groups, with the church's history and the natural heritage in the churchyard.

The consultancy's role

Alix Slater Consultancy & Training mentored the PCC and acted as a critical friend while they were applying for the grant, which was successful.
