Activity Planning
Oldham Borough Council's £30m regeneration project set out to bring together the Council's Arts & Heritage Service and Oldham Coliseum Theatre Trust, supported by applications for grants from the Heritage Lottery Fund and Arts Council England.
Alix Slater Consultancy & Training was appointed to support the Council over two years, preparing the Activity Plan, Business Plan and Management and Maintenance Plan, along with the Heritage Lottery Fund Round 2 application.
The consultancy undertook consultation with a broad range of stakeholders, including local history groups, groups working in the area and teachers, to develop the Activity Plan and Business Plan. Alison Guilfoyle provided support on retailing.
The Round 2 application for the Heritage & Arts Centre secured a £3.38 million grant.
