About the project

Stonor Park applied for a Cultural Recovery Grant to support the estate through the Covid-19 pandemic. The grant helped the estate put safety measures in place, and recover by exploring its visitor, retail and food and beverage offers.

The estate installed a Shepherd's Hut, providing a new income stream from guests staying at Stonor.

The consultancy's role

Alix Slater Consultancy & Training prepared the Cultural Recovery Grant application, and developed and tested a learning trail. Alison Guilfoyle looked at retail and Marilyn Scott looked at events.
